Day 1 - SEIT Kata Tjuta Sunset Privately

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is a place of unique flora and fauna as we make our way to Kata Tjuta your guide will reveal the many attributes of this amazing environment. Arriving at Walpa Gorge, a very sacred place to the Aboriginal people we take a walk between the magnificent domes, to hear how it has evolved over millions of years. Take the time to listen to the wind (Walpa) far above and view the scale of the walls that surround you. Late afternoon we make our way toward Kata Tjuta sunset area, where we relax with a glass of sparkling wine and try some of the bush foods of the desert offered to you by your guide and host as you take in the spectacular sunset and the colour changes on this extraordinary monolith. We return you to the resort in time for your evening meal.

Day 2 - Cave Hill Privately

Join this once in a lifetime exclusive invitation to visit the remote Pitjantjatjara Lands for a cultural immersion experience exploring the Aboriginal Songline (stories) of the creation ancestors. With your Anangu guides, enjoy the beauty and serenity of the arid desert environment to see how work, song, dance, storytelling and art are truly integrated in a living culture that is many thousands of years old.

Your guide will pick you up from Ayer Rock Resort at 7.30am and you will venture deep into the Desert and the Pitjantjatjara Lands of Central Australia. As you travel your guide will explain the environments you travel through and stop along the way at various points of interest and photo opportunities. On arrival at Cave Hill we will be met by our Anangu Host the traditional owners of Cave Hill, the site of the Seven Sisters Tjukurpa (creation time). The Traditional Owners of Cave Hill are responsible for maintaining only the chapter of the Songline that lies within the boundaries of their traditional homeland, the story has been maintained since the beginning of time.

The main feature is the magnificent cave paintings - possibly the most significant art site in central Australia. The drama of the Seven Sisters creation story is graphically illustrated on the ceiling of the cave. We walk to the top of the cave to take in the view which presents a 360 degree panorama including, Uluru 100kms, Mt Connor and the imposing Musgrave Ranges. Discuss Tjukurpa (dreaming) and learn about the Songlines and its relevance to Anangu life in the Desert. After lunch we travel back to Ayers Rock Resort. (Option of Helicopter fly and drive available)

Day 3 - SEIT Uluru Sunrise Privately

After the day at Cave Hill and discussions on culture your understanding of Aboriginal Central Australia will be enhanced for your sunrise visit to Uluru. Your guide will pick you up prior to sunrise.  We visit the spectacular Uluru and witness the sunrise, whilst enjoying a picnic breakfast. Your guide will explain Uluru’s natural history, the unique flora, fauna and its deep significance to the Anangu people (local Aboriginal people). A Short walk will bring you close to this wonderful and powerful place, viewing rock art, and waterholes.

Your guide will tell you the songlines or children’s stories handed down by generations of the Anangu elders.
A special feature is the appreciation of the exquisite as well as dramatic sculpturing of Uluru. We take the time to absorb these images and to gain an insight into Uluru’s remarkable presence.

We return to Ayers Rock Resort.
