Depart and returns from Ayers Rock Resort

Day 1  -SEIT Kata Tjuta Privately

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is a place of unique flora and fauna as we make our way to Kata Tjuta your guide will reveal the many attributes of this amazing environment. Arriving at Walpa Gorge, a very sacred place to the Aboriginal people we take a walk between the magnificent domes, to hear how it has evolved over millions of years. Take the time to listen to the wind (Walpa) far above and view the scale of the walls that surround you. Late afternoon we make our way toward Kata Tjuta sunset area, where we relax with a glass of sparkling wine and try some of the bush foods of the desert offered to you by your guide and host as you take in the spectacular sunset and the colour changes on this extraordinary monolith. We return you to the resort in time for your evening meal.

Day 2 -  SEIT Uluru Sunrise Tour

Your understanding of Aboriginal Central Australia will be enhanced during your sunrise visit to Uluru. Your guide will pick you up prior to sunrise. We visit the spectacular Uluru and witness the sunrise, whilst enjoying a picnic breakfast. Your guide will explain Uluru’s natural history, the unique flora, fauna and its deep significance to the Anangu people (local Aboriginal people).

A short walk will bring you close to this wonderful and powerful place, viewing rock art, and waterholes. Your guide will tell you the songlines or children’s stories handed down by generations of the Anangu elders. A special feature is the appreciation of the exquisite as well as dramatic sculpturing of Uluru. We take the time to absorb these images and to gain an insight into Uluru’s remarkable presence. We will return you to Ayers Rock Resort mid morning.

Day 3  - Mt Connor 4WD OUtback Adventure

SEIT Outback Australia offers a unique and exclusive touring experience to Mt Conner, the third monolith of Central Australia located100 kms east of Uluru. This is the quintessential Aussie Outback experience. Departing from Ayers Rock Resort this fascinating tour will introduce you to life in the desert. Absorb the ambiance of the Red Centre without the crowds as we venture into an extraordinary environment by 4WD. Mt Conner is situated on a vast, fully operational, privately owned cattle station called Curtin Springs Station. While the dams on the property were constructed for watering cattle here you will find the perfect natural habitat for red kangaroos and a vast array of birds and reptiles of the Red Centre.

You will discover an ancient inland salt lake and learn about the European history of the region. While you enjoy a glass of sparkling wine you will be captivated by the spectacular changing colours of sunset over Mt Conner.

Before returning to Ayers Rock Resort you will relish a three course  dinner prepared by the cook at Curtin Spring Station.
